Sail Training builds confidence, and the best way to build self esteem is to sail on a Tall Ship. Our Tall Ships T.S. Bob Allen and T.S Caroline Allen were specially designed and built for younger sailors (10 years +).
£25 per person for a half day / evening sail (based on a booking of 5 people at our subsidised youth rate).
£55 per person for a day sail (based on a booking of 5 people at our subsidised youth rate).
x2 (Captain and Deckhand) +5 Trainees
(the Brigs are big steady boats, have small ropes with light loads and are very easy to sail)
We sail for three hours with five new trainees – one to steer and four to pull the ropes. And with a hundred ropes there’s plenty to do.
We can sail with younger trainees, disabled trainees, people who are not sure about sailing on a bigger ship or people who have sailed on bigger ships and want to revisit the fun.
We can make anyone familiar with square rig and how it works (tacking, wearing, different sail combinations) in a morning.
Stick us on a lowloader and find a crane that can lift 8 tonnes and we can sail on any bit of water miles away from the sea.
